Self healing is different to healing others.  The same techniques often do not work.

When healing others the key is a sense of deep love and care that creates the healing environment.  But we cannot give ourselves the same comfort that others give us.  This is the reason that we need friends - other people are important in our lives.

In healing yourself it is most effective not to try to do something to yourself, but to be yourself.  Dance, be creative, or sit and meditate - but be true to yourself.
